GAME OVER by Livingstone Imonitie

January 11, 2019

There is a time to be born and a time to die.
I know life is hard, and it seems nothing goes to plan.
Nevertheless, never give up at the challenges that come your way.
Giving up is a tale even babes abhor,
But if you continue to fight day by day,
There’s a chance to bask in a euphoria of hope.
Don’t take your life because the going gets tougher,
It’s all part of life and its adventures.

When things go wrong, a certainty that is,
When this road you trudge, feeds you with scoffs,
When the funds are low and debt are high,
And your moves sway with the notes of insufficient funds,
Rest if you must, but quit DO NOT.
Winners are not the people who never fail, But those who never quit.
It’s when things seem worst that you must not give up.
So stick to the fight when you’re the hardest hit.

We all have demons, their words our muse.
We all have things that cause pains.
Fights your demons,
It’s always the darkest before the beautiful dawn.
The use of pillows are not to soak your tears at night, even when you’ve lost the voices you held on for advice.
The only way to have a better tomorrow is to erase bad memories of yesterday.

Be tired of tasting the salt off your tears,
Be tired of the punches that hit you from your fears,
Be tired of turning to salt each time you look back.
Gold ain’t refined till it passes through fire.
You are Gold.
So chill and believe, as the trial burn off your impurities.
Take focus like a suit and determination as your tie.
Look lit, smile good, fuck tears.
You are God’s masterpiece.

This is the reality with no extra life,
This is the reality with no recompensIts
t’s Game over when you breath your last.
It’s Game over when you hope no more.
Dream and Believe, Work and Achieve.
If it doesn’t come, try again.
If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.
Jabs and Punches make a K.O possible.
Work while you can, as much as you can,
Laziness and doubt is a shadow big enough.
Trust me, you don’t want in.
Remember brother, if you die today,
it’s GAME OVER.
