I’ve been a whale in the sea
I wine and dine in the pit
I’ve caressed the sweet fruit till it spits
I dig deeper like it was made of Wasabi.
I’ve been enslaved to the bitter sweet drink
Hence, it’s been my daily tonic
Now, it’s tattooed me with pain
Heaves me scars; I neigh
With dejection, I bow to Thy feet
For salvation and unmasked mercy.
Don’t appear a masquerade
Strand me not in pain
Mirror me Thy mercy-full visage
No mask, it’s scary; as I pay homage
Cleanse me; at Thy feet I bow
Resurrect from perish, my sin-full soul.
